Specimen lake
All anglers must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency rod licence
No dogs allowed on site
No anglers under the age of 18 allowed on this lake
Pre booking and pre payment is required to fish this lake
No one is permitted to enter or leave the fishery between the hours of 9pm and 7am. In case of emergency call 07811954424 where someone will unlock the main car park gate (there will be a charge of £20 for this service)
The specimen lake gate must remain closed and locked at all times once you are through, the code must not be given out to anyone.
No spectators or visitors unless prior permission has been granted
Barbed or micro barbed hooks must be used and of a minimum size 6, aggressive hook patters or excessively sharpened hooks like the Korda Kamakura are banned from this fishery.
Line of minimum 12lb and maximum 20lb breaking strain must be used
No braided mainlines or leadcore
No naked lines, a smooth coated leader such as the safezone leader or rig tubing of at least 20 inches must be used
A leadclip or running lead system must be used at all times, No fixed leads allowed whatsoever
Every angler must be in possession of a suitably sized cradle or well padded unhooking mat. unhooking mats must have raised sides
Every angler must be in possession of a large landing net minimum 42 inch
Every angler must be in possession of a large retention sling with solid bar across the top for removing fish from the water. Anyone seen lifting fish from the water in a landing net and not a retention sling will be asked to leave the fishery.
A suitable carp care kit must be used on every hook hold or any damage to the body of the fish
All nets, slings, mats, cradles, stink bags etc must be bone dry on arrival, if not please contact mark for disinfectant before entering the fishery
No sacking or retaining of fish allowed unless prior permission granted
Fish must be returned to the water as quickly as possible, during the warmer months or excessive heat we may put up notices saying fish cannot be removed from the water for weighing or photos, this will have to be done from in the lake if you desperately want a photo
All fish over 35lb must not be removed from the water, all photos and weighing must be carried out whilst you and the fish are in the water
All captures must be reported directly to management or written into the catch log in the office block straight after your session please
No nuts or home prepared particle allowed
Fishing is limited to your booked swim only, anyone seen casting outside of their designated swim or past a feature or island will be removed from the fishery
No one to leave their rods unattended, the next swim along from you is the maximum distance we allow, this excludes swims 6 and 7 as they are too far from 5 and 8
If you become snagged please do not pull for a break, call Mark for assistance
No fires allowed, portable bbq’s are allowed as long as they are on suitable non flammable ground and taken home with you
Please keep your swim tidy, please use the bins provided
Please use the toilets at the entrance of the fishery, do not put human waste in the bins, you will be made to take the entire contents of the bin home with you if you do so
Please keep excessive noise and drinking of alcohol to a minimum so everyone can enjoy their time here and keep safe
Please do not damage the vegetation or interfere with the wildlife
We reserve the right to check rigs and equipment at any time
We reserve the right to carry out maintenance at any time if we see fit.
Anyone breaking the rules will be removed from the fishery with immediate effect and with no refund
If you cancel your booking or do not turn up you will loose the money you have paid
Anyone seen damaging or trying to steal fish will be prosecuted
The entire site is under 24 hour recorded cctv, we reserve the right to use this in any law suit if needed.
These rules are here to not only protect our fish but also to protect you and ultimately help you to have an enjoyable, safe and productive time here
Pleasure & Traditional Lakes
Every angler must have the correct Environment Agency rod licence
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
No under 16s allowed on the Traditional Lake
Please purchase the correct ticket on arrival or pre book
Pre booking is required for night or 24 hour tickets
Maximum 2 rods per angler on the pleasure lake and 1 rod per angler on the Traditional lake
Anyone fishing should have a suitably sized landing net and unhooking mat
Barbless hooks only
Minimum 4lb and maximum 10lb Mainline and must be used
No braided mainlines allowed
Safety rigs such as lead clips or running leads must be used if ledgering, No fixed leads or fixed feeders allowed
Do not leave rods unattended
Keepnets are allowed providing they are emptied after a maximum of 6 hours in the summer, no single fish over 4Lb to placed in keep net and a maximum of 60lb in any one keepnet
Separate keepnets must be used for silvers and carp
No Nuts or home produced particles allowed

Please do not damage vegetation or foliage
No fires allowed, bbq’s are allowed proving they are off the ground and not placed on or near anything flammable. Please take home any disposable bbq’s
Please do not interfere with any wildlife you may see here
Do not damage/harm or try to take any fish from the premises
Please use the bins provided
Please keep the gate to the lakes closed at all times
