Since we purchased Foxearth fisheries in 2012 we have done extensive work to improve the lakes and fishing here. All of the lakes have been either re dug, de silted or extended. New swims have been installed, extensive reed planting has been done and general ground maintenance to make it what it is today. The lakes have all been restocked and we now run our own stocking programme from fish we produce on site in our hatchery and stock ponds.

Every winter we net all of the lakes to check on stocking density and the health of the fish. Fish are moved between lakes to remove unwanted species in certain lakes and help top up other lakes. This helps to provide good quality fishing come the spring when everything starts to wake up again.
